Regular Trail work days are open to the public on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
We will meet at the new parking lot on Old Hwy. 41 at 8:30 a.m.
and usually finish by 1:00 p.m.

You can go to the Trail Projects  page to see a description of what we will be doing on that day! If you cannot make this day then look at the Schedule of Trail Work Days to find a date when you can attend.



VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION:
Volunteers should park in the Old Hwy 41 parking lot and look for the Trail Club registration table there. Volunteers will be assigned to work teams with KMTC crew leaders and given directions to the work site for that day.

** Please do not wear open-toed shoes (!!) and long pants are recommended. Bring your own water bottle if possible, but water and gloves will be provided at the park.

The NPS Volunteer Services Agreement is required for everyone.
Parents must sign the Permission Form if the volunteer is under 18 years old.

Park at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park new parking lot on Old Hwy. 41

Old Hwy 41 parking lot is 2/10 mile north of the Visitor Center -- visitor center address: 900 Kennesaw Mountain Drive; Kennesaw, Georgia 30152

DIRECTIONS TO PARKING LOT

From I-75 North
To exit 269 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn left onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Go 1.0 mile crossing over the railroad bridge and turn right into new parking lot.

From I-75 South
To exit 269 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn right onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Go 1.0 mile crossing over the railroad bridge and turn right into new parking lot.

From I-575 North
To exit 1 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn left onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3.5 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Go 1.0 mile crossing over the railroad bridge and turn right into new parking lot.

From I-575 South
To exit 1 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn right onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3.5 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Go 1.0 mile crossing over the railroad bridge and turn right into new parking lot.
